Data privacy and anti-corruption have been two of the most unnerving issues facing U.S.-based companies in the past year. As the U.S. struggles to address these concerns, the U.K. has adopted legislation which imposes more restrictive measures to address both data privacy and anti-corruption. How do these recent developments impact U.S. companies conducting business in the U.K. and Europe in general? Do these developments suggest a need for further regulation in the U.S.? William Barker and Adam McGiveron, partners at the U.K.-based firm of SGH Martineau, will address these issues and others in a special corporate counsel breakfast event moderated by Gray Plant Mooty’s Jennifer Debrow.
