Earlier this week, the Department of Education issued final regulations implementing the Campus SaVE Act amendments to the Clery Act. Campus SaVE and the final rule are intended to require institutions to more effectively address, and ultimately reduce, sexual violence on college campuses, including domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

The newly published rule details additional requirements to ensure that institutions provide more complete information to their students, better inform and protect victims, and clarify the process for collecting and reporting crime statistics in annual security reports, including incidents that were investigated and determined to be unfounded.

Join us for a 90-minute update on the new rule and its impact on your institution.

Issues impacted by the new regulations include:

  • Participation by attorneys in the complaint process
  • Required content for determination notices
  • Prevention programs
  • The Clery Act’s hierarchy rule

Learn how your institution will need to update its policies and practices as a result of this new rule.
