Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome David J. Kim as a Partner in its nationally recognized Corporate & Business Practice Group. Kim was recently featured in The National Law Review, where his arrival was highlighted as a strategic move to bolster the firm’s M&A, venture capital and emerging company capabilities.

Based in the Kansas City office, Kim brings more than two decades of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity transactions. His background includes representing venture capital funds, family offices and VC-backed companies, as well as serving as outside general counsel to private businesses.

Kim joins the firm from another full-service law firm, where he co-chaired the Venture Capital and Emerging Companies practice group. His addition strengthens Lathrop GPM’s presence in key markets and supports its continued national growth.
