Washington, D.C. (August 12, 2026) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce that Senior Counsel Sheldon Klein has been included in the Lexology Index Intellectual Property Report 2026 as “Recommended.”
Klein counsels clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, advertising and social media. His practice encompasses intellectual property portfolio management, licensing and transactions, as well as enforcement and litigation strategies designed to protect and maximize the value of clients’ intellectual property assets. A recognized leader in the intellectual property community, Klein is a sought-after author and speaker on emerging IP issues and has taught intellectual property law at George Washington University. He previously served as president of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the U.S. section of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI-US).
In addition to this recognition, Klein was named the Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s Trademark Attorney of the Year, recognized as a Lexology Index Thought Leader in Trademarks and has been honored multiple times by World Trademark Review as a Leading Trademark Lawyer.
Klein’s recognition comes on the heels of three Lathrop GPM partners being ranked in the Lexology Index Employment & Labor Report 2026, announced last month. Rosalee McNamara and Kathryn Nash were listed as “Highly Recommended,” while Tedrick Housh was listed as “Recommended.”
