Boston (October 2025) — Lathrop GPM is proud to announce that Associate Nicole Sassu, Ph.D. has once again been named a “Rising Star” by IP Stars, a guide published by Managing IP. This marks the second consecutive year that Nicole has earned this recognition, which highlights outstanding intellectual property practitioners worldwide.
Nicole is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on patent law in the pharmaceutical and chemical arts. She advises clients on U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution, global patent portfolio management, freedom-to-operate analyses and due diligence. Her scientific background includes a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in biochemistry from Providence College. She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
The IP Stars guide covers more than 70 jurisdictions and is based on independent research, including interviews and surveys of thousands of firms, IP professionals and clients. Nicole’s continued recognition reflects her commitment to excellence and innovation in intellectual property law.
