ST. LOUIS, MO (September 4, 2025) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce that Partner Matthew Jacober has been named one of the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2025 Champions for Diversity & Inclusion. This prestigious recognition celebrates individuals, nonprofits and companies that are actively advancing diversity, equity and inclusion across the St. Louis region.

Jacober is one of 14 honorees selected this year through an independent editorial review process based on merit, achievement and community impact. The Champions for Diversity & Inclusion Awards program highlights leaders who are making St. Louis a more inclusive place to live, work and thrive. Honorees were recognized at an award luncheon earlier today.

Jacober represents clients in high-stakes litigation matters across industries including finance, health care and manufacturing. Outside his core practice, Jacober is a Missouri state court-approved mediator and a passionate advocate for the wrongfully convicted. He works pro bono for others who have been unjustly imprisoned, demonstrating his deep commitment to justice in all forms. He is also the Chair of the Pro Bono Committee at Lathrop GPM. His leadership extends beyond the courtroom and the firm, currently serving as board president of the Midwest Innocence Project, a nonprofit focused on freeing innocent people from prison for crimes they did not commit.
