Kansas City, MO (June 29, 2020) – Missouri Lawyers Media named Lathrop GPM Partner Jehan Kamil Moore to its 2020 class of Diversity & Inclusion honorees. Moore is one of 21 recognized by the publication for “advancing diversity, inclusion and the dignity of all people in Missouri’s legal profession and in communities in which exceptional legal work impacts justice for all.”

Moore serves as co-chair of the Lathrop GPM Culture, Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Involved with diversity and inclusion efforts at the firm since joining more than 10 years ago, Moore helped create and lead the firm’s Diverse Professionals Network, is past co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative Network, and also mentors and aids in the recruitment of diverse attorneys to the firm. Moore’s advocacy efforts continue outside the firm. She is an active alumna of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellows Program, serving as city lead for its Kansas City-area alumni group; a member of the University of Kansas School of Law’s Alumni Diversity Advisory Council and serves as a mentor for the school’s diverse students; and a member of CROWN — the Cross-Organizational Women’s Network of Kansas City.

A litigation attorney, Moore’s practice focuses on representing business clients in litigated and non-litigated disputes, defending employers in a variety of litigation matters, and advising employers on effective personnel policies and practices.

Moore will be recognized for this honor during a virtual awards event scheduled for July 31 and a feature in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Media that same week.
