MINNEAPOLIS (June 9, 2025) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce that Brian Dillon, Partner in Charge of the firm’s Minneapolis office, has been recognized as a 2026 Notable Litigator & Trial Attorney by Twin Cities Business magazine. The recognition highlights attorneys across the Twin Cities who have demonstrated exceptional skill and impact in litigation.

Dillon is a member of Lathrop GPM’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. Over the past 18 months, he has secured a series of decisive results across complex trust, estate and closely held business disputes. His recent work includes a complete defense verdict following a two-week jury trial in a dispute over the ownership of tens of millions of dollars in lottery proceeds, summary judgment dismissing tortious interference claims tied to a private equity-funded squeeze-out merger and summary judgment upholding a contested trust instrument.

Before joining the firm, Brian served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, where he prosecuted cases involving consumer protection, financial services, healthcare and antitrust laws.

Beyond his litigation practice, Dillon serves on the board of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, recently completing a two-year term as co-chair. He previously served on the boards of The Fund for Legal Aid and the Loan Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota. Throughout his career, he has provided pro bono assistance to asylum seekers in partnership with The Advocates for Human Rights. Dillon has been consistently recognized in Chambers USA, Minnesota Super Lawyers and among The Best Lawyers in America.
