ST. CLOUD, MN (February 19, 2024) — Lathrop GPM LLP is pleased to welcome back Edward J. Fleming V (Teddy) to the Business Transactions Practice Group in the firm’s St. Cloud office. His return follows a string of recent additions to the practice, including Issaku Yamaashi and Kristen Koerber in Kansas City.

Fleming focuses his practice on general corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate, representing clients across a wide range of legal issues, including corporate formation, governance, contract negotiation and more. He has represented individuals and global companies in sectors as diverse as technology, automotive, oil and gas and manufacturing. Prior to rejoining Lathrop GPM, Fleming served as counsel at Winthrop & Weinstine.

“We are excited that Teddy has come back to the business transactions team—especially at such a critical juncture in its growth,” said Mark Williamson, chair of Lathrop GPM’s Business Transactions Practice Group. “He has represented an impressive array of clients—from small businesses to private equity firms to boards of directors—and we’re confident his impressive knowledge of complex transaction structures will help strengthen our ties to the Twin Cities region, where we have a deep history of delivering topflight client service.”

“This is a tremendous opportunity, and I look forward to once again collaborating with Lathrop GPM’s talented business transactions team,” Fleming added. “I’m thrilled to get to work alongside some former colleagues—and to see some new faces on the team.”

Fleming holds an M.S.W. from Boston College and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
