MINNEAPOLIS (March 2, 2022) – Lathrop GPM Partner Kathryn Nash was named to Twin Cities Business’ list of “Notable Women in Law” for 2022. One of 29 honorees, the list recognizes the ability to guide clients through complex transactions and commitment to the community and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts through mentorship and pro bono work.  

Nash chairs the firm’s Labor, Employment, and Higher Education practice areas and co-founder of trainED, a nationally recognized outgrowth and extension of Lathrop GPM’s higher education law practice. She advises colleges and universities on issues unique to higher education institutions and is well known among higher education attorneys and policymakers for her work advising and leading sexual misconduct and harassment investigations and revising institutional policies. Through trainED, she also regularly provides training and conducts audits for companies and higher education institutions.

The list of “Notable Women in Law” includes only people who were nominated and accepted after editorial review. To qualify for this list, individuals must have at least five years of experience in their field and have shown the ability to effect change in their roles or areas of practice.
