KANSAS CITY, MO (December 19, 2024) – Lathrop GPM attorneys Ally Cunningham, Gizie Hirsh, Kate Nolen and Steve Sutton, all in Kansas City, have all been named to the Missouri Lawyers Media Top 100 Power List 2024. This list is selected from the previous POWER Lists over the past 12 months.

Partner Ally Cunningham was recognized in the Environmental and Energy Law category. Cunningham is regularly tapped to represent companies facing lawsuits alleging radioactive exposure. She was named for her work representing companies in PFAS matters, Price-Anderson Act lawsuits and claims related to residual nuclear waste leftover from the Manhattan Project. This is her second consecutive year being named to the Top 100 Power List.

Partner Gizie Hirsh was recognized in the Immigration Law category. Hirsh assists national and local employers in all areas of business-related immigration law, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1 and R-1 approvals, J-1 waivers, and I-9 compliance and E-Verify issues. Gizie represents architectural firms, educational institutions, manufacturers, entertainment firms, financial service firms and health care providers, before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Labor (DOL), and the Department of State.

Kate Nolen was recognized in the Family Law category. Nolen is counsel in the firm’s Kansas City office and co-chairs the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. She also handles some of the firm’s juvenile appointments, representing both parents and children in family court. This is her third consecutive year being named to the Top 100 Power List.

Senior Counsel Steve Sutton was recognized in the Construction Law category. Sutton represents general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and property owners, addressing a spectrum of issues from project construction defects to contract negotiations and the enforcement of promised payments.
