David E. Ashdown

David Ashdown is an associate in the firm's Los Angeles office focusing his practice on complex product liability and toxic tort litigation in relation to catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He is actively involved in all stages of litigation including discovery, developing defense strategies, drafting pleadings, motion practice and trial. David is currently a member of the client team that acts as national coordinating counsel for a manufacturing client in cosmetic talc litigation. 

Prior to becoming an associate at Lathrop GPM, David served as a law clerk and a paralegal for the firm. This experience includes case management of national coordinating counsel matters, developing trial-cross outlines for expert witness examinations, preparing opening statements for trial and drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery and correspondence including answers to complaints, motions for summary judgment and declarations.
