Boston Office,
Effective Monday, March 16, while our office at 28 State Street in Boston will remain open, everyone based in that office is expected to work remotely. Please note that this notice supersedes the notice that just went to the entire firm; while the whole firm will begin working remotely on Wednesday, the Boston office will begin doing so tomorrow. To be clear, we are not aware of anyone in our Boston office that has contracted COVID-19. Rather, we are making this decision as a proactive step to help protect our people and “flatten the curve” of the spread of the virus.
A couple points of logistics:
- If you currently have a firm laptop, but need to access the office to get documents or other things necessary for you to work remotely, please come in to the office Monday morning, get what you need, and leave.
- If you do not have a firm laptop, please come in to the office Monday morning so that we can finalize our preparations for you to work remotely. Once that is done, we will ask you to leave the office and begin working remotely.
As long as our building is open, our office will remain open and accessible to identified key staff whose presence in the office is business critical. We will let you know if you fall into this category. For everyone else, if you need to come into the office for any reason, please let Bevette Davis know so that we can discuss.
Please take care, everyone. We know this is an uncertain time, but we will all get through this together. I always tell people that when I visit Boston, there’s so much energy that it seems like someone is pumping oxygen through the halls. Please keep that hard work and momentum even as we are working from home. And I look forward to coming back and sharing that feeling again soon.
Thanks,
Cameron
