Christopher M. Coy

Chris Coy is a patent agent in the firm's Minneapolis office, with a strong background in a wide variety of technologies such as medical device and software technologies, in addition to networking, hardware, semiconductors and Watson technologies. Chris prepares patent applications, office action responses and defensive publications. He has experience working for a major technology company as a patent engineer, conducting patent enforcement work by researching competitor's patents, and selecting patents to assert against companies practicing the technology. 

While pursuing his J.D., Chris worked for the United States Attorney's Office, in the Civil Rights Division, assisting in reviewing complaints from grieving parties located in Minnesota - specifically regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act.
