William Schumacher
William Schumacher represents and advises debtors, secured and unsecured creditors and other parties within the firm's Financial Services practice group. William's practice focuses on creditors’ rights, business restructuring and reorganization, including chapter 11 proceedings, complex bankruptcy litigation, liquidation, section 363 sales, and out-of-court restructuring related matters. He has significant experience drafting dispositive motions in bankruptcy proceedings. William has represented clients in a variety of industries, including retail, media, the oil and gas industries, and healthcare.
Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, William was an associate at an Am Law 100 law firm in Los Angeles. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Lathrop GPM Summer Associate program and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Minnesota.
