Max Schwartz counsels private and public companies on complex business transactions. He assists clients with contract negotiation (leases and SaaS, manufacturing, and employment agreements), standard policies including EULAs, privacy policies and terms and conditions, seed- and growth-stage investments, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate wind-ups and restructuring.
Prior to joining the firm, Max was COO of a startup company in Seattle. There he provided strategic oversight of operational functions, including management of business operations, establishment of KPIs, P&L and operations reporting, and oversight of team building and real estate functions. He also provided support to the CEO while fundraising from both angel and institutional investors. This unique view into daily business operations gives Max additional insight into the goals and potential obstacles of his clients.
