Margaret W. Sayre

Meg Sayre practices in the areas of corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, start-up and emerging companies, securities, and general corporate law. Meg counsels public and private businesses on entity formation, governance, securities transactions, periodic reporting, and contract negotiation, and she advises buyers and sellers in stock and asset purchases. Meg’s clients value her wide range of experience, trusting her to provide practical guidance that serves their key business objectives. 

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Meg practiced at a law firm in Des Moines, Iowa, where she maintained a general business practice. Before beginning her practice, Meg served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Mark W. Bennett of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.

While in law school, Meg was a judicial extern to the Honorable James E. Gritzner of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa, and she also served as a student director in the Ronald M. Mankoff Tax Clinic. Before law school, Meg worked in constituent services for Congressman Erik Paulsen.
