John R. Green

John Green practices primarily in the area of public finance, acting as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and borrower’s counsel on municipal bond transactions, including transactions involving hospital and nursing home revenue bonds, senior housing revenue bonds, governmental revenue bonds, industrial development bonds, higher education bonds, cultural facility bonds, tax increment bonds, and school district financing. John has also acted as lender’s counsel and borrower’s counsel in financing transactions involving Native American tribes. He has participated in public finance transactions in many different states, ranging from routine bank-placed transactions to the most complicated revenue bond and conduit financing transactions.

  • Underwriter’s counsel for a $44 million senior housing financing
  • Borrower’s counsel for a $54 million bond issue for a Minnesota private college
  • Underwriter’s counsel with respect to a $70 million financing for a multifamily housing project
  • Borrower’s counsel for a $498 million hospital refinancing
  • Borrower’s counsel for a $32 million financing of an inner city senior housing/assisted living project
  • Borrower’s counsel for a $17 million museum refinancing
