Emma Vertin
Emma Vertin is a Paralegal with the Real Estate & Tax Credit practice group. Emma provides development and public partnership related services to Ride KC Development Corporation, Midtown KC Now, and University Health. Her specific skills include title due diligence, drafting documentation for real estate and tax credit transactions, and facilitating closings. Her experience also includes drafting grant applications, establishing and monitoring community improvement districts, and providing corporate governance and business entity formation support.
Prior to joining the firm, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she conducted research in international public law and worked as a legal intern researching multistate litigation and consumer protection issues. She then completed an AmeriCorps service year serving under resourced elementary-aged youth through City Year in Kansas City.
