Ebonie Davis
Ebonie Davis is an experienced attorney with a range of talents, primarily counseling clients within the firm's Real Estate & Tax Credit practice group. Ebonie is adept at reviewing and negotiating leases, contract agreements and loan documents. She has in-depth experience handling transactions involving a variety of financing methods, including low-income housing tax credit financing and bond financing.
Ebonie regularly assists with M&A transactions and has extensive experience advising clients through all phases of selling and acquiring businesses, including analyzing contractual and operational due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and ensuring corporate governance compliance. She further advises clients throughout the acquisition process, bringing harmony to lease and real estate matters as well as coordinating and negotiating financing.
Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Ebonie practiced in another Kansas City law firm's Financing and Real Estate Group. Additionally, Ebonie served as an attorney for the United States Department of Agriculture, in the Office of the General Counsel, where she advised federal agencies in connection with multi-family housing loan closings, community facilities loan closings, water and sewer project closings, and further represented the agency in judicial proceedings.
