Colin T. Halpin

Colin Halpin is an associate in the firm's St. Louis office who focuses his practice on real estate and tax credit financing. He works on a variety of real estate matters involving new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, Opportunity Zones and low-income housing tax credits, as well as other federal, state, and local tax credits and incentives. His clients include equity investors, developers, lenders, and tax credit allocatees. He also advises clients on various real estate issues regarding the acquisition, development, and financing of commercial, senior, and multi-family residential property.

Colin graduated from Washburn University School of Law with certificates in Tax Law, Business and Transactional Law, and Estate Planning. While at Washburn, Colin served as president of the Tax and Estate Planning Association, coordinated the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic, and was a member of the Washburn Law Journal.
