Chandler E. Carr
Chandler Carr focuses his practice on insurance recovery. He represents corporate and individual policyholders in insurance recovery matters involving a wide range of industries and types of insurance coverage. His experience includes representing policyholders in disputes arising under policies for general liability, errors and omissions, directors and officers liability, employer’s liability, employment practices liability, and first-party property. Chandler also represents policyholders and third-party claimants against insurance companies on bad faith claims, and advises policyholders on coverage under their insurance portfolio.
In addition to his work on behalf of policyholders, Chandler represents employers and ERISA plans in employee benefits litigation.
Chandler joined the firm after working as a summer associate. During law school, he participated in the Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth at Northwestern University’s Bluhm Legal Clinic, where he gained experience representing clients pursuing claims of innocence. He also worked as a legal extern with the in-house counsel of a large children’s hospital in Chicago.
