Teofilo Javier, Jr. Named to Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 2018 Fellows Program

Boston, MA (March 14, 2018) – Teofilo (Teo) Javier, Jr., associate in Lathrop Gage’s Boston office, was selected by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as a Fellow for 2018.

As a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property division and Biotech Patents Prosecution team, Javier focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnology patent applications in a range of areas, including RNA interference, peptides having osteoinductive properties, antibodies, vaccines and tissue implants. Javier also works with the litigation group on matters related to intellectual property.

Javier is the second Lathrop Gage attorney to be named a LCLD Fellow. Jehan Kamil Moore was selected as a Fellow in 2017.

The LCLD Fellows program provides high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds an ambitious, highly structured training program designed to build relationships and leadership skills. The Fellows program has trained more than 800 mid-career attorneys since 2011 and is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives.

Founded in 2009, LCLD is an organization of more than 240 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession.
