Lathrop GPM officials say they also are impressed by their new partner's work in the community.

Lathrop GPM added a new partner in Kansas City that the firm’s managing partner calls “a powerhouse” in law and the community.

Elizabeth “Beth” Haden joined the firm’s Business Transactions practice group in the Kansas City office. She joins Lathrop after working a dozen years with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, including more than two years as a partner, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Haden’s expertise is working with borrowers and lenders in a wide range of financing matters, according to a release.

Lathrop Managing Partner Cameron Garrison hailed Haden’s legal work, but also her involvement in the Kansas City community. Haden serves o the board of the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired and the Children’s Center Campus. She’s also a member of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Class of 2020 and is on the chamber’s education committee.

Lathrop GPM ranked No. 5 on the Kansas City Business Journal’s most-recent list of area law firms, based on 129 local lawyers, including 66 local partners.
